                Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park

Bhagwan Birsa biological park is also known  as Ranchi zoo, that is located in Ormanjhi in Rancji,Jharkhand.

The Ranchi zoo was established in 1994 on the name of Bhagwan Birsa.It was divided on two divisions, the zoological section(in 83 hectare) and the botanical section(in 21 hectare).The zoo contains almost every kind of animals,from cat to lion and lion to lizards.The zoo is full of trees and bushes, which make zoo feels you like you are in any jungle.

                                                                    There are many trained staffs that are available 24 x 7.They always present to monitor health issue of animals.And there is seperate ward for the treatment of animals and the newly ones.Also there was many veterinarian that sees the ill animals and birds.Many celebraties anlso visited this place.

All over it is a good place for kids and their families.The zoo refers many programmes for adoption of animals to give them better facilities.

*(But by my thinking Is it good to keep the animals in ZOO and saying that they give better facilites to animals.Is it??)

 

 

 

THE SAL TREE, Sakhua

The Sal tree,common tree in Jharkhand( known as Sakhua) whose scientific name is Shorea robusta is the tree of family Dipterocarpaceae.

The Sal tree covers all mountains and jungle in Jharkhand,means that mainly The Sal tree is known as jungle in Jharkhand.This tree is native to the Indian subcotinent which is ranging from South Himalaya,it extends from Assam,Bengal,Odisha and Jharkhand to Haryana,east of the Yamuna.

The Sal tree is also known as sakhua in many places,also in nothern India.It is mainly the state tree of Jharkhand and Chattisgarh.The Sal tree is moderate to slow growing and can be height of 30 to 35 m and a trunk of diameter of upto 2-2.5m.

In Hindu tradition,the sal tree is said to be favoured by Vishnu.

Its use:-

a.  It is one of the most important source of hardwood timber.This wood is used for constructing frames for doors and windows.

b. Its dry leaves are used for make papaer plates and paper bowl are called patri(in Jharkhand).

c. Its leaves is also used fresh to serve ready made paan.

d. In Nepal,its leaves are used to make local plates and vessels called "tapari". "doona", and "bogata"in which rice and curry is served.

e. Sal seeds and fruit are a source of lamp oil and vegetable fat.It is extracted from the seeds and used as cooking oil.

Bridge No.27,a railway bridge which is famous in whole Jharkhand specially in Lohardaga district.

This bridge was also known as Selfie Point.

 This bridge was completed in January,2018.This bridge was made to reach the Ranchi-Lohardaga passanger train to Tori railway station.which is now named as Ranchi-Lohardaga-Tori memu.

The train(Ranchi-Lohardaga-Tori memu)carries passangers to their destination specially in remote areas ie,Tori.Many passanger travel from their home to the Ranchi city and many other city to do their work and this passanger train seems best transporation to them.Because many of the passangers belong from the rural areas where not more facility of the transportaion for the far city.So,many passsangers travel through this passanger train.

                                                     So,the train carry passangers to their destination by crossing this bridge specially from Tori to Lohardaga or Lohardaga to Tori.Actually,this bridge is famous because this bridge is situated in the jungle area above the small river,which looks so beautiful.Also,this bridge is just few km away from Lohardaga district,So,many travelers and the locals came here as to enjoy picnic.

This bridge is also famous as picnic spot because of the beautiful scenery,also this bridge was famous for selfie point because at earlier(when this bridge was ready) many youths and travelers take selfie ftom the top of this bridge.But after many accident,means falling from the bridge while taking selfie, the Government restricts to upstairs to the bridge and take selfie from the top of the bridge.So,now no one can upstairs above the bridge and if you want to do this you will be punished.So,take care about it if you go there and go above the bridge.

Deogarh

Deogarh is a Hindi word and the meaning of Deogarh is 'ghar' of GODS and GODDNESS.Deogarh is also known as "Baidynath Dham" and "Baba Dham".

The name Deogarh seems to be from the erection of the great temple of Lord Baidyanath.Deogarh district is one of the twenty-four districts of Jharkhand state.And Deogarh town is the administrative headquarters of this district.This district is known for the Baidyanath jyotirlinga shrine.And Deogarh is part of Santhal division,It is located in the Santhal's division area.

Bidyanath Temple in Deogargh holds one of the twelve'Shiva jyothirlingams' and is also one the 51 saktipeeths in India.The Purans refer this temple as fit place for funeral obsequies.It is also famous globally as the mela of Shrawan.It is the only place in India where the jyotirilinga and the saktipeeth  are together.Each year between July and August about 7 to 8 million devotees come from all corners of India to offer holy water from the Ganges ar Sultangunj--almost--108km--from Deogarh--to present to Lord Shiva.

Also Baidyanath Dham is one of the most secret destinations in India tourism.There are many Buddhist monasteries around.

The climate of Deogarh is dry and congenial.And Deogarh district is spread over an area of 2479sq km.It is high,hilly and damp.The Deogarh is primarly rain-fed.

So,you have to visit Deogarh and explore this place.

PATRATU VALLEY

Patratu Valley,again a beautiful destination place in JHARKHAND where almost every JHARKHANDian's want to visit.

Patratu Valley is situated in the Ramgarh district.Actually Patratu is a census town in which many valley/mountains present,in which Patratu Valley is the highest in it which is almost 1,329 ft high.

Also there is a Patratu Dam which attracts the tourists and the travelers.Many peoples came here to enjoy their picnic in the Patratu Dam.

Patratu Valley is famous for its mountainious views and the road in it that makes the Patratu Valley more beautiful.All the visitors enjoy the top view from this "Patratu Valley".

                                                                           Patratu Dam was made to store water for the Ramgarh city which holds water of the Nalkari River.This is also the best place for the locals to enjoy their weekends and the holidays.If you reach at the Patratu Valley,you can clearly see the dam and the lake.Patratu Valley is best in the winter season,because it gives you a feel sometime like hill station.

The tourists and travelers roam this place allover year.The youngster visit this place mostly as riding day,independence day and also in other occasions whenever they free from their busy life.So,if you also want to visit this place then you are always welcome.

You must have to visit this place if you came in JHARKHAND for any purpose.So,take some time to visit this place and enjoy the valley and its climate.

Dassam Fall is also known as Dassam Ghagh which is located in Taimara Village in Bundu.

Dassam Fall is a natural cascade across the Kanchi River.It falls from the height of 144ft, and also it produces large sound due which it can hear from 1km across.

                                    The fall seems best in the new year day for the local peoples,because it is closer in their locality and they don’t have to go for to enjoy their holidays or for new year day.

Although it is the best for those who loves the falls and their sound and the climate of falls.One more interesting thing about Dassam Fall water is so clear that you can drink it and use it for many purpose.So,if you empty your water bottle then you don’t have to take tension,you just have to fill your bottle with this water.That’s it…….

Netarhat, a best  place in  Lohardaga,Jharkhand  to enjoy the view the sunrise and sunset from a closer view.

Many travellers and tourists came here to enjoy this beautiful sunrise and sunset view.It is situated in Latehar district.It is 83 km away from the Lohardaga railway station which takes almost 2hrs to reach if you travel through car.

This hill station is 1,017metres(3,514 ft)from the sea level.And the Netrahat region is covered with Sal,Kendu,Mahua and Eucalyptus.
